Joshua Nguyen is an associate attorney at Ahdoot Wolfson and is admitted to practice in California. Joshua is a proud alumnus of UCI Law, where he provided legal support for the American Constitution Society, Elder Law & Disability Rights Center, Public Law Center, and Innocence OC. As a result of his endeavors to ensure the marginalized and indigent have access to justice, Joshua earned the UCI Pro Bono Achievement Award.
At Innocence OC, Joshua notably assisted in drafting a habeas corpus petition that was key in overturning an attempted murder charge in In re Jarmon Sanford on Habeas Corpus (Court of Appeal Case No. B333282), challenging the misapplied Kill Zone Theory. Currently, Joshua volunteers at the Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s legal clinic, offering his expertise to help underserved communities navigate complex legal challenges. At Ahdoot Wolfson, Joshua’s practice focuses on consumer class actions.
