Concord Orthopaedics Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against New Hampshire-based orthopedics group Concord Orthopaedics following news that it suffered a data breach.
According to public sources, information potentially disclosed in the data breach includes:
- names
- dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- health insurance information
- appointment information, which may have included the treating physician name, date/location of the appointment, and the appointment type (surgical, MRI, etc)
- driver’s license numbers or state identification numbers for some impacted persons
Concord Orthopaedic’s failure to protect sensitive information may violate state and federal laws, including privacy laws.
