Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating reports that Miku’s Pro Smart Baby Monitors have become unusable or have been “bricked” by a recent firmware update. Specifically, reports indicate that consumers who did a recent device firmware update on their Miku Pro Smart Baby Monitor have experienced the devices failing and no longer working. This is particularly troubling for consumers because the Miku monitors can cost hundreds of dollars, with some costing as much as $399.99.
