Subaru Starlink Infotainment System Defect – Class Action Investigation
Ahdoot Wolfson is interested in speaking with consumers who own or lease Subaru automobiles that have experienced issues with the in-vehicle Starlink infotainment system. Recent reports indicate that the touch screens of the Starlink infotainment system in certain Subaru vehicles experience malfunctioning, blackouts, freezing, lagging, and otherwise fail to respond to consumer input. As a result, certain features–including safety features–become intermittently or wholly inoperable, including the back-up camera, navigation system, EyeSight driver assist, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the radio.
Our investigation has revealed that certain 2019-2022 Subaru vehicles, including the Outback and Legacy, may be impacted by these issues. Subaru is no stranger to issues with its Starlink infotainment system. It previously settled a class action lawsuit alleging similar issues with the Starlink infotainment system in certain 2017-2018 Subaru vehicles.
