Keenan & Associates Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against Torrance, California-based insurance brokerage firm Keenan & Associates. Following an August 2023 cyberattack on its systems, Keenan & Associates announced a data breach impacting approximately 1.5 million people. Keenan & Associates has confirmed that the information disclosed in the breach includes names in combination with Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, health insurance information, and general health information. 

Keenan & Associate’s failure to protect sensitive personal information may violate consumer protection and data privacy laws.
