Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

June 20, 2023 by

Ahdoot Wolfson is interested in speaking with individuals who are residents of the state of Louisiana and holders of a state-issued Louisiana driver’s license.

In June 2023, the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (“OMV”) announced that its office was impacted by the MOVEit ransomware data breach and cyber attack, and that potentially every person with a Louisiana driver’s license may have had their sensitive personal information exposed. OMV has confirmed that the following information may have been exposed: name, address, Social Security number, birthdate, height, eye color, driver’s license number, vehicle registration number, and handicap placard information.

If you have a state-issued Louisiana driver’s license or if you received a notice from the Louisiana OMV indicating that you were impacted by the data breach, please fill out the form below and one of our lawyers promptly will contact you. You may be entitled to compensation.
