700Credit, LLC Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot & Wolfson, PC is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals whose personal information may have been compromised in the recent data breach at 700Credit, LLC (700Credit).

700Credit is a Michigan-based credit reporting and data analytics company that provides services to automotive dealerships, helping them assess consumer creditworthiness through its 700Dealer.com platform. It recently disclosed a significant cybersecurity incident that exposed sensitive data of millions of consumers. According to reports, the breach involved unauthorized access to systems containing personal and financial information, potentially affecting up to 8 million individuals nationwide. While 700Credit has not fully detailed the scope, early indicators suggest the incident occurred between May and October 2025, with the breach discovered on October 25, 2025, and linked to a “bad actor” who copied consumer data without authorization. This event underscores the growing risks in the automotive finance sector, where vast troves of applicant and customer data are routinely handled.

Information potentially disclosed in the breach includes Social Security numbers. The potential disclosure of highly sensitive personally identifying information (PII) in this breach raises serious concerns about identity theft, phishing scams, and other forms of fraud. Our firm is reviewing claims to determine if 700Credit failed to implement adequate security measures to protect consumer data, in violation of federal and state privacy laws.

If you received a data breach notification from 700Credit, or believe your personal information was impacted, please contact us for a free consultation.
