Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator “Annual Paid Monthly” Fees – Class Action Investigation

July 10, 2024 by

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action against Adobe relating to reports and a recent FTC lawsuit against Adobe accusing it of hiding early termination fees for Adobe’s products and services, including Adobe Acroboat, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

According to reports and the FTC lawsuit, Adobe encouraged consumers to enroll in its “annual, paid monthly” plan without disclosing that canceling could cost hundreds of dollars. In many instances, Adobe subscribers who have requested to cancel through Adobe’s customer service believe they have successfully cancelled but continue to be charged, not realizing this for months.

Reports indicate that Adobe pushed consumers toward the “annual paid monthly” subscription without adequately disclosing that cancelling the plan in the first year could cost hundreds of dollars. These practices may violate consumer protection and other laws.

If you subscribed to an Adobe product through an “annual, paid monthly” plan and were penalized or charged for trying to end the plan early, our firm would like to hear from you. Please fill out the form below and one of our attorneys will contact you.
