$85M Settlement in Zoom Privacy Litigation

Ahdoot Wolfson, serving as co-lead class counsel in In re Zoom Communications, Inc. Privacy Litigation, obtained $85 million for class members whose privacy was allegedly violated by Zoom’s collection and sharing of their information with third-party development kits and failing to provide true end-to-end encryption on video calls. In addition to the $85 million fund, the settlement required Zoom to significantly overhaul its data collection and security practices.
