Excelsior Orthopaedics Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against New York-based medical services provider Excelsior Orthopedics. 

According to reports, Excelsior Orthopaedics discovered that in June 2024 it suffered a data breach exposing the personal information of approximately 357,000 individuals, including addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, drivers’ license numbers, medical record numbers, diagnosis information, treatment details, insurance information, and biometric information.

Excelsior Orthopaedics’ failure to protect sensitive personal information may violate consumer protection and data privacy laws.
