Healthcare Services Group Inc. Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a data breach class action lawsuit against Pennsylvania-based Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (“HSG”) following reports that it experienced a data breach exposing sensitive information of 624,496 people.

HSG provides operational support to nursing homes and medical facilities. On or about October 7, 2024, it identified a potential network intrusion occurring from September 27 to October 3, 2024. It recently disclosed the breach to state attorneys general.

According to public reports, information disclosed in the breach may include names, Social Security numbers, drivers’ license numbers, state ID information, financial account information, and access credentials.

HSG’s reported failure to promptly report the breach and the alleged disclosure of sensitive information may violate consumer protection and privacy laws.
