Hyatt Hotels Complimentary Breakfast False Advertising – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating reports that luxury hotel operator Hyatt Hotels makes promises to guests that breakfast (or other amenities such as free cocktails) will be included in stays with Hyatt’s hotels, but that Hyatt routinely informs guests upon arrival that these amenities are not available due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Consumers often pay an additional sum of money for a hotel stay or room that is accompanied by complimentary breakfast or other perks. Hyatt’s failure to deliver on its promise of including free breakfast and other perks as advertised, while charging travelers an inflated price for their hotel stay, may violate consumer protection and other laws.
