Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a data breach class action lawsuit against Seattle-based Laboratory Services Cooperative (“LSC”) following reports it suffered a massive data breach disclosing sensitive information for 1.6 million people.
According to reports, LSC — an independent clinical laboratory — exposed some or all of the following information of breach victims during the breach:
- names;
- addresses;
- dates of birth;
- demographic data;
- medical/clinical information (date(s) of service, diagnoses, treatment information, medical record numbers, lab test results, patient/accession numbers, provider names, treatment locations, other care information);
- health insurance information;
- Social security numbers;
- drivers license numbers and state ID numbers;
- passport numbers;
- payment card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV codes, and other payment data; and
- other billing and claims data.
LSC’s failure to protect sensitive information may violate state and federal law. If you received a data breach notice letter from Laboratory Services Cooperative, you may be entitled to compensation. Please fill out the form below and one of our attorneys will contact you for a free consultation.
