Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 Cooling Fan Defect – Class Action Investigation

March 7, 2024 by

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Nissan following reports that the radiator cooling fans in model year 2013-2017 Nissan Pathfinder and model year 2014-2017 Infiniti QX60 vehicles contain a defect that cause the fans to fail, resulting in engine overheating and failure.

Public reports and complaints indicate that Nissan, the parent corporation of Infiniti, has known about this issue for years but has failed to take action to correct the problem. Engine failure presents a clear safety concern, and Nissan’s failure to offer a repair or replacement free of charge to impacted Pathfinder and QX60 owners has resulted in them incurring expensive out of pocket costs to remedy the cooling fan defect. Nissan’s failure to take action with respect to this alleged defect may violate state and federal consumer protection and other laws.

If you own a 2013-2017 Nissan Pathfinder or 2014-2017 Infiniti QX60 and have experienced cooling fan failure or engine failure due to overheating, please fill out the form below and our attorneys will contact you for a free consultation.
