Philips Respironics Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Philips Respironics following reports that it experienced a data breach impacting over 457,000 individuals. 

Although there are little details about the breach as of present, on March 4, 2024 Philips filed a notice with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights disclosing a “hacking / IT incident” involving a network server. 

Philips’ failure to protect sensitive information may violate state and federal laws, including consumer and data privacy laws.
