Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram UConnect Infotainment System Issues – Class Action Investigation

March 8, 2024 by

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit following reports that a defect in the UConnect infotainment system in certain Fiat Chrysler (FCA) vehicles causes the system to experience various issues and causes vehicle features to malfunction. According to reports, UConnect’s touch screen will suddenly freeze, reset, and go blank or blackout. Impacted vehicle owners and lessees also report experiencing issues with the functionality of the radio, GPS, speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. The reported defect can impact the functionality and operability of the backup camera and the back up camera display, which is critical safety equipment required by law in all new vehicles. These problems can also cause driver distraction, further adding to safety concerns.

Based upon our investigation, the following model and model year FCA vehicles:

  • 2022-2023 Chrysler Pacifica
  • 2022-2023 Ram pickup trucks (1500, 2500, 3500)
