Carlos Armijo has spent over 20 years in the legal field as a senior legal assistant and paralegal. He received his paralegal certificate in 2010 from the University of San Diego, with an emphasis on business practices, and has since assisted attorneys in a wide range of legal tasks at boutique, mid-size, and AMLaw 100 law firms.

In his legal experience, Carlos has worked for both plaintiff and defense law firms receiving training and experience in a variety of different types of law including general civil litigation, business-side bankruptcy litigation, intellectual property, antitrust class action litigation, trade secret and trade dress litigation, and product liability, as well as defending employment wage and hour class actions, PAGA Class Actions and employment class arbitrations. Carlos also has experience with municipal and administrative law, including water rights litigation, eminent domain, lands rights issues, and labor and employment. In his time as a paralegal, he has assisted attorneys in all phases of litigation from inception to the preparation of written discovery requests and responses, preparation and service of subpoenas, document review, and trial preparation, from mock trial to verdict.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Carlos has been a San Diego resident since 2003. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends or watching his beloved Red Sox.
