2015-2017 Ford Mustang Wiring and Backup Camera Failure – Class Action Investigation

May 12, 2021 by

Ahdoot Wolfson is prosecuting lawsuits against Ford Motor Co. (“Ford”) relating to an alleged defect in the trunk lid wiring harness of certain Mustang vehicles.

Our investigation and reports relating to the issue reveal that the wiring harnesses situated in the trunks of 2015-2017 model year Ford Mustangs are prone to failure and short circuiting caused by wear on the wiring from opening and closing the trunk lids in these vehicles. When this occurs and the alleged defect manifests, electrical components tied to the wiring harness fail, including critical safety features such as the backup camera.

We are interested in speaking with consumers who own 2015, 2016, and 2017 model year Ford Mustangs who have had electrical issues with their vehicles, including backup camera and trunk latch failures. If you have had these types of issues, please contact us by filling out the form below and one of the attorneys at Ahdoot Wolfson will promptly contact you.
