Specifically, consumers are voicing concern on the internet that their 2023 and 2024 Outbacks experience an unsafe condition causing unintended acceleration, where the vehicles accelerates unexpectedly without driver input or even as the driver tries to stop the vehicle. Unintended vehicle acceleration can pose serious safety risks, as drivers may struggle to maintain control of the vehicle, leading to potential accidents and collisions.
