2013-2015 Honda Accord Steering Defect – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit agains automaker Honda relating to reports that 2013-2015 Honda Accords are plagued with an unsafe steering defect.

Recent reports indicate that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) “is investigating multiple complaints about steering failures that could affect more than 1.1 million Honda Accord sedans.” Drivers of the impacted vehicles – model years 2013-2015 Honda Accords – report experiencing a loss of steering control and vehicles veering from the intended path of travel. While Honda has confirmed it is aware of the issue, to date it does not appear to be taking steps to uniformly rectify the situation. Because the impacted Accord vehicles are older models, these cars are out of warranty and Honda may be declining to provide a fix to impacted car owners who own the 2013-2015 model years. 

Steering defects like the defect allegedly impacting 2013-2015 Honda Accords pose a substantial safety hazards, and loss of steering control can be life threatening to vehicle owners, passengers, and other drivers on the road.
