2024–2025 Chevrolet Trax – Lane Keep Assist and Active Safety System Defects – Class Action Investigation
Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against General Motors following reports of defects in the Lane Keep Assist and active safety systems in 2024–2025 model year Chevrolet Trax vehicles.
An NHTSA complaint alleges the 2025 Chevrolet Trax Lane Keep Assist applied steering toward an adjacent lane at ~60 mph and was later rendered inoperable after a dealer visit without disclosure. GM TSBs (PIC6552D, PIC6587) acknowledge that image‑processing/active safety modules on 2025 Trax can become inoperable and require resets, and there is no specific recall addressing LKA behavior on MY2025. Given large 2024–25 Trax volumes and corroborating owner reports, this presents a credible safety‑oriented class action opportunity focused on defective or improperly disabled driver‑assist systems.
