Apple Device Analytics Sharing – Privacy Class Action Investigation

December 14, 2022 by

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating reports that Apple tracks its device users’ data even after device users select a settings option to completely disable data sharing on their devices.

Recent reports indicate that Apple may be sharing “Device Analytics” even though iPhone and other Apple device users select a setting that says “disable the sharing of Device Analytics altogether.” Researchers have found that Apple collects extremely detailed information on consumers through its own apps even when you turn off the tracking, which, if true, would be in direct contradiction of Apple’s own description of how privacy protection works on its devices.

Apple’s reported sharing of Device Analytics and other sensitive consumer data despite consumers indicating a preference to not have that data shared may violate privacy laws and other consumer protection laws.

If you use an Apple iPhone or other Apple device, and have selected the option on your settings to disable the sharing of Device Analytics, please fill out the form below and our firm promptly will contact you.
