Community First Medical Center – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against Illinois-based Community First Medical Center after it announced that it experienced a data breach affecting over 216,000 people.

In a data breach notice filed with state authorities and sent to impacted persons, Community First confirmed that sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, are impacted by the breach. Community First’s failure to protect sensitive information may violate state and federal laws, including privacy laws.
