Costco Card Skimmer Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

November 15, 2021 by

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Costco following reports that a recent breach of its payment card systems at certain storefront locations using card skimmers resulted in hackers stealing customers’ sensitive payment card information.

Costco’s failure to protect sensitive payment card information of its customers can expose those customers to fraud and identity theft. Some customers already have reported experiencing fraudulent charges following the security incident. Costco’s data security failures may violate consumer protection and privacy statutes.

If you or your family member received a notification that you were impacted by the Costco data breach or believe you were subjected to a fraudulent charge or other fraud as a result of this breach, you may be entitled to compensation. Please fill out the form below and one of Ahdoot Wolfson’s lawyers will promptly contact you.
