DNA Diagnostics Center Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

December 1, 2021 by

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Ohio-based DNA testing company DNA Diagnostics Center following reports that a recent breach of its systems resulted in disclosure of sensitive financial information of nearly over 2.1 million persons.

According to reports, the breach occurred between March 24, 2021 and July 28, 2021, and compromised information includes: full names, credit and debit card numbers, payment card verification codes (CVV), financial account numbers, and platform account passwords.

DNA Diagnostics Center’s failure to protect sensitive payment information can expose its customers to fraud and identity theft. These failures may violate consumer protection and privacy statutes.
