Gateway Genomics – GIPA Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a potential lawsuit against Gateway Genomics regarding the alleged use and sharing of genetic information obtained through its consumer DNA testing products.

Gateway Genomics, which developed the SneakPeek Early Gender DNA Test, was acquired by Myriad Genetics in 2022. The investigation concerns whether the handling or sharing of genetic information obtained through Gateway’s DNA tests complied with Illinois’ Genetic Information Privacy Act (GIPA).
