Marathon Health – Data Breach Investigation

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a possible class action lawsuit involving Marathon Health following a confirmed data breach. According to Marathon Health, on August 24, 2026, an unauthorized individual posing as a Marathon Health IT worker obtained an employee’s login credentials, accessed a cloud-hosted application, and exported information. On September 9, 2026, Marathon Health confirmed that personal information was involved.

The information that may have been exposed includes names, dates of birth, contact information, and Social Security numbers. For some individuals, health records and health insurance information may also have been involved.

• Potential Risks: Depending on the information involved, affected individuals may face concerns related to identity theft, financial fraud, or misuse of personal and health information. Marathon Health is offering affected individuals 12 to 24 months of identity monitoring services through Epiq.

Individuals who received a data breach notification letter from Marathon Health may have been affected. This may also include current and former patients of Marathon Health clinics, as well as employees and family members of organizations that offer Marathon Health as a workplace health benefit.
