Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against New York-based medical services provider Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, PLLC. 

According to reports, Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine discovered suspicious network activity on November 22, 2023 and by December 29, 2023, it determined that the personal information of 177,101 individuals may have been exposed. This information may include Social Security numbers, payment information, and medical and health insurance information. 

Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine’s failure to protect sensitive personal information may violate consumer protection and data privacy laws.
