Regional Care, Inc. Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action against Nebraska-based health insurance agency Regional Care, Inc., after it disclosed that it has been the subject of a cyberattack disclosing the sensitive information of approximately 226,000 people.
According to an investigation, on November 8, 2024 Regional Care, Inc. experienced unauthorized access to its network, and the threat actor viewed or acquired information such as names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, medical information, and health insurance information.
