Rust-Oleum RockSolid Deck Coating Failure – Class Action Investigation

April 26, 2021 by

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating Rust-Oleum’s RockSolid 2X, 6X, 20X, and Deck Start Wood Primer products following many reports that these products have a propensity to fail. Despite proper application, homeowners report that these Rust-Oleum products peel, chip, crack, flake, strip, and otherwise prematurely degrade and fail within weeks and months of application to decks and other wood surfaces.

Ahdoot Wolfson is already prosecuting a class action lawsuit related to these issues against Rust-Oleum relating to its Restore line, the predecessor to RockSolid. If you would like more information about this lawsuit, our firm’s investigation, or if you have experienced premature product failure in your use of Rust-Oleum’s Restore or RockSolid deck coating products, please fill out the form below and our attorneys promptly will contact you.
