SimonMed Imaging Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot Wolfson is investigating a class action lawsuit against Arizona-based SimonMed Imaging, one of the largest medical imaging providers and physician radiology practices in the United States.

According to reports, SimonMed learned in late January 2025 that one of its vendors had been breached and an investigation conducted by SimonMed revealed that its own network had been hacked. Public reports indicate that hackers had access to SimonMed’s systems between January 21 and February 5, during which period they were able to exfiltrate the following information of 1.2 million people:

• names
• addresses
• dates of birth
• health insurance information
• driver’s license numbers
• government-issued IDs
• Social Security numbers
• financial account numbers
• authentication credentials
• medical information
