Sound Generations Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

December 15, 2021 by

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Seattle-based non-profit Sound Generations following reports that a breach of its systems resulted in disclosure of sensitive medical and personally identifying information of patients, employees, donors, volunteers, and others

Sound Generations is a non-profit based in Seattle, Washington that provides services for the elderly and people with disabilities. The company suffered two data breaches, one on July 18, 2021 and the other on September 18, 2021. The company recently reported to the Maine Attorney General that the breach affected 600,605 persons.

Sound Generation’s failure to protect sensitive medical and other information can expose its patients, employees, and others affiliated with it to fraud and identity theft. These failures may violate consumer protection and privacy statutes.

If you or your family member received a notice letter indicating that you were impacted by the Sound Generations data breach, you may be entitled to compensation. Please fill out the form below and one of Ahdoot Wolfson’s lawyers will promptly contact you.
