Tackle Warehouse, Running Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse, Skate Warehouse Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

Ahdoot & Wolfson is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against websites Tackle Warehouse, Running Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse, Skate Warehouse (the “Warehouse websites”) following reports that unauthorized persons gained access to 1.8 million customers’ sensitive credit and payment card information.

The breach reportedly occurred beginning in early October 2021, and the websites first learned of the breach on October 15th.The Warehouse websites confirmed on November 29th the customers that had their payment information stolen. After the conclusion of an investigation, the Warehouse websites sent notices to the affected individuals on December 16th, 2021.

The details that have been compromised as a result of this incident are the following:

• Full name
• Financial account number
• Credit card number (with CVV)
• Debit card number (with CVV)
• Website account password

The Warehouse websites’ failure to protect sensitive payment card information can expose its customers to fraud and identity theft. These failures may violate consumer protection and privacy statutes.
