LA Times Reports on Lawsuit Against Meta AI

The Los Angeles Times recently reported on the consolidated class action against Meta and eyeglass maker Luxottica alleging privacy violations and false advertising arising from Meta AI Glasses’ video footage. The article, available here, reports that the class action alleges that intimate images were captured without the consent of users, as well as their family members, which Meta then used to train its AI models. Ahdoot Wolfson and its co-lead counsel recently filed a consolidated complaint detailing Meta’s alleged privacy misconduct.
